A one-stop shop for every family's swimming needs — teaching, training and community in Kemptown.
Brighton Swimming Centre prides itself on being a one-stop shop for every family's swimming needs and a centre for learning within the Brighton and Hove area.
We offer daily swimming lessons for children from 1 year old upwards and also operate a major programme of day and evening 1:1 and 2:1 swimming lessons for adults — alongside our award-winning sea swimming programme, Pool to Pier.
We are a centre for education too — last year more people trained as swimming teachers at our pool than at any other in the UK. We also operate regular lifeguard courses through Swim UK.
The centre was recently refurbished with new changing rooms and state-of-the-art training and meeting rooms, which — like the pool — are available to outside hirers.
Community
We offer lane swimming sessions for the community most lunchtimes and link with a number of worthy causes — in particular All Out Africa and their inspiring work developing swimming and lifesaving skills among children in Eswatini.
Everything we earn goes back into the pool, the teaching, and the community. We are independent, family-run, and here for the long term.
